Shire of Brookton - Things to do and see. The
Brookton Museum and Heritage Centre houses an
invaluable collection of objects and records with
historic significance to the Brookton District.

|Narrogin||Old Court House Museum|
Check out the original magistrate's bench,
prisoner's dock and witness stand, exhibits from
Narrogin's doll and pottery factories, medical
displays, early farming items and Aboriginal
artefacts. Mon-Fri 10-4, Sat 10-12
Events, Exhibitions, Workshops. Their rooms are
next to the Town Hall in the middle of Narrogin.

Wagin Historical Village, The Information Centre
at the village is the gateway to possibly the best
reconstruction of a Farming Community in the

Outside fun for all the family. The Woodanilling
Heritage Walk consists of 13 panels on a short
walk around the townsite. Panels on the verges
describe buildings, people, events and history.

The Katanning Public Art Gallery, located adjacent
to the Katanning Public Library, is one of the
largest galleries within the Great Southern Region
and showcases a diverse range of shows throughout

As Katanning doesn't have any silos it decided to
light up a series of Western Power electrical
transformer boxes and walls in the town centre
with murals by prominent Western Australian

The Society was officially declared in 1997. In
the following year a stone building was erected on
the corner of Gt Southern Highway and Journal St
– which is now our Museum. By appointment.

It situated in the old Stationmaster's House,
adjacent to the railway line on Norrish Street.
Rooms have been re-created, using furniture and
artifacts of by-gone years.
Located in Gathorne Street it is open by
appointment only on 0407 261 123. This was the
first brick house to be built in Cranbrook. It is
the oldest house in the town, and was built soon
after the completion of the Great Southern Railway
